Sharif can play as a central midfielder or a right midfielder, as well as in defensive midfield and at right-back, and has been with the club since the age of six.
He has yet to make his first-team debut at the club but has made 53 appearances for the Under-18s, scoring two goals and registering seven assists.
The teenager made his debut for the Under-23 side last season, against Chelsea, and also played in the FA Youth Cup final, with Liverpool winning the trophy.
And fans are delighted that a major young star has put pen to paper on fresh terms as the Reds look to the future.
